Divine Love Province (INS)

India South Province • Patron: Divine Love

Divine Love Province, India South was first established in 1992 at Bangalore as one of the regional foundations of the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit in India. Over three decades of grace, it has blossomed into a vibrant missionary jurisdiction spanning six southern states.

Presence & Communities

Today, the province encompasses 19 communities spread across 6 southern states: Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Over 112 consecrated sisters from 11 distinct cultural and linguistic backgrounds live and minister together in intercultural harmony.

Responding dynamically to the pressing needs of the times, the sisters reach out to marginalized and vulnerable populations through formal education, advanced medical care, legal advocacy, and rural development.
